For their updated series of educational textbooks WACO for highschool, Plantyn publishers asked me to illustrate new covers picturing each scientist and corresponding items leaving their heads, symbolising their subject. Some scientists were obviously long gong or lived in times before advanced photography was invented, so it was quite a challenge to picture some of them. I’m quite satisfied with how they turned out though. It’s also great to know some youngsters are using ‘my’ books to study at this very moment!
